UMC El Paso Welcomes Frantz Berthaud as Senior VP of Oncology Services

University Medical Center of El Paso is proud to announce the appointment of Frantz Berthaud, MPH, FACHE, as the new Senior Vice President of Oncology Services. With over 15 years of expertise in cancer program leadership, Berthaud brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to advancing cancer care in the El Paso community.

Prior to joining UMC, Berthaud served as Market Director of Oncology at The Hospitals of Providence, where he led innovative initiatives to improve patient outcomes. His leadership background also includes significant roles at the renowned Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, underscoring his deep knowledge of oncology management.

Berthaud holds a master’s degree in health policy and management from Boston University and is recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), highlighting his dedication to healthcare excellence.

UMC looks forward to leveraging Berthaud’s expertise to further enhance its oncology services, ensuring patients in El Paso receive comprehensive, cutting-edge cancer care close to home.

UMC currently operates cancer care facilities that offer a full range of oncology services, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and patient support programs.
