This recognition reflects the hard work, dedication, and compassion of our health professionals, and staff, and a year defined by meaningful progress for our patients and our community. Some of the milestones we’re especially proud of include:
- Being named by Healthgrades as one of America’s Top 100 Hospitals for Spine Surgery, in collaboration with Nexus Neuroscience.
- Becoming the first teaching hospital in Texas to fully upgrade to the da Vinci 5 robotic surgery system.
- Receiving Beacon Awards for Excellence for our ICU, CVICU, and Neurosciences ICU from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
- Becoming the first hospital in the region to offer ECMO, providing lifesaving care for patients with severe heart and lung failure.
- Achieving Pathway to Excellence designation and national accreditation for our Nurse Residency Program.
- Breaking ground on the Fox Cancer Center with Texas Tech Health El Paso, expanding access to comprehensive cancer care right here in El Paso.
