UMC Goes Blue for Colorectal Cancer Awareness

UMC Staff

University Medical Center of El Paso (UMC) showed its support for Colorectal Cancer Awareness by participating in “Dress in Blue Day.” Staff at UMC’s Digestive Health Center wore shades of blue to raise awareness about the importance of early detection and screening during this important health observance.

“Dress in Blue Day” is part of a national campaign to spotlight colorectal cancer, the third most common cancer diagnosed in both men and women in the United States. By wearing blue, UMC joins the effort to educate the community and encourage conversations around prevention and regular screenings.

UMC’s Digestive Health Center plays a vital role in this mission, offering convenient access to screenings and digestive health services. The hospital invites community members to learn more about colorectal cancer prevention and to schedule an appointment by visiting umcelpaso.org/DigestiveHealth.

UMC continues to support public health campaigns that promote early detection and community awareness, all while providing expert, compassionate care right here in El Paso.
