The STAR Award, is bestowed quarterly to UMC associates who exemplify core values in their daily work. These individuals are celebrated for their commitment to excellence and their positive impact on patient experiences. It is recognized and celebrated by the hospital through social media posts and announcements. The award recognizes a variety of UMC employees, including nurses, medical assistants, and maintenance staff.
UMC shared the announcement via an X post, stating: “These STARS are shining! Congratulations to our most recent recipients of the STAR award. These Associates have been recognized for their excellent performance and dedication to our patients.” Along with photos of winners: Adrian E. Carrera, Alejandro Moreno, Carlos Villa, Kristie D.
