Investing in the Future: The Fox Cancer Center
A key part of UMC’s long-term vision is the development of the Steve and Nancy Fox Cancer Center, a major project currently under construction in El Paso and expected to open in 2028. The Center is supported through a partnership with Texas Tech Health Science Center El Paso.
Once complete, the facility will significantly expand access to cancer care in the region by bringing together multiple services in one location, including treatment, imaging, and pharmacy support. The project also includes investment in advanced medical technology to enhance the delivery of care.
Supported by community investment, including voter-approved funding and private donations, these efforts reflect a shared commitment to improving access to healthcare in the region.
