Ride Like a PRO: UMC Promotes ATV Safety During Brain Injury Awareness Month

UMC Staff

March is Brain Injury Awareness Month, a time dedicated to highlighting the importance of brain health and injury prevention. As part of this effort, University Medical Center of El Paso (UMC) is using the month to share important safety guidance with the community, especially when it comes to riding all-terrain vehicles (ATVs).

UMC’s Level 1 Trauma Center is encouraging everyone to “Ride like a PRO,” a message aimed at promoting safe ATV practices to help reduce the risk of serious brain injuries. Riding safely and responsibly is one of the most effective ways to prevent accidents that can lead to head trauma and other severe injuries.

For helpful tips and safety resources, UMC invites the public to visit umcelpaso.org/ATV. The site offers easy-to-follow guidance to help riders of all ages stay safe while enjoying outdoor activities.

During Brain Injury Awareness Month, and every month, UMC remains committed to educating the community and preventing avoidable injuries before they happen.
