There is still time to lace up your shoes and join the community for ¡Salud! To Better Health, a 5K run/walk benefiting the University Medical Center Foundation of El Paso’s Sobreviviendo el Cáncer program.
Taking place on Saturday, Sept. 26, the event brings together runners, walkers, families, and community groups to support local cancer patients and their families.
Every Step Supports Local Patients
The Sobreviviendo el Cáncer program assists local patients undergoing active cancer treatment. Funds raised through ¡Salud! To Better Health help address some of the financial and everyday challenges that can come with a cancer diagnosis.
By registering for the event, participants are helping provide practical support to people in the El Paso community while they focus on their health and treatment.
Something for Everyone
You don’t have to be an experienced runner to participate. The event includes:
- A competitive 5K run
- A one-mile walk
- A Kids Dash
- Finisher medals for all participants
- Awards for overall and age-group winners
- A Largest Team Trophy
Gather your family, friends, coworkers, or community group and make your miles count for a cause that directly supports local patients.
