At University Medical Center of El Paso, a clean and safe environment is essential, and Brenda and Martha Garcia make it happen every day. While they aren’t related, these two associates share a passion for their work and a commitment to create a welcoming space for patients and families.
Both are key members of UMC’s Environmental Services team, ensuring that patient rooms are spotless and safe.
Brenda, who has been part of UMC’s Housekeeping team for five years, says her passion for her work comes from the satisfaction of creating a spotless environment.
“I love what I do, I love to leave a clean environment. I love my job,” she shared.
Martha, with 13 years of service, particularly enjoys working in Labor and Delivery, where she helps ensure new families are welcomed into a safe and comforting space.
