Strength through adversity, that’s the message UMC chose to celebrate on National Trauma Survivors Day. The hospital came together to honor the resilience and courage of those who have experienced traumatic injuries, sending messages of hope and support to survivors in the community.
In a powerful show of solidarity, UMC hosted a blood drive alongside its celebration. This event was an opportunity for team members, community members, and supporters to contribute in a way that directly helps save lives, and aid those whose recovery depends on lifesaving care.
UMC made sure to appreciate and thank everyone who stopped by to show their support and make a donation. Each person’s kindness and generosity makes a significant and real difference in the lives of trauma survivors.
While the day was a moment for reflection and honoring the struggles survivors have faced, it was also a testament to their ongoing spirit of recovery, and a reminder of the community’s ability to come together and make a powerful, healing impact.
