UMC Welcomes Mexican Consular Delegation for Special Hospital Tour

UMC Staff

Today was a special day at UMC as we had the honor of welcoming a delegation from the Mexican Consulate to tour our hospital. This visit highlights the strong ties and collaboration between our community and our neighbors across the border.

General Consul of México, Mauricio Ibarra Ponce de León; Deputy Consul, Félix Herrera Herrera; Protection Consul, Julio César Azuara Nájera; and Consul for Community Affairs, Adriana Martínez Landaverde all came together to learn more about the care we provide to our patients and the services available at UMC.

During their tour, the Mexican delegation had the opportunity to see first-hand the advanced facilities, the team’s expertise, and the compassion with which we serve the community. This visit underscores the strong relationships we foster, not just within El Paso, but across borders, reflecting a shared understanding that health care is a universal need.

We appreciate their time, their continued collaboration, and their support for the health and well-being of both Mexican nationals and members of our community. This tour was a wonderful opportunity to connect, collaborate, and celebrate the strong bond we share.
