University Medical Center of El Paso was proud to partner with The University of Texas at El Paso for the HOPE+ Health Fair, which took place on Wednesday, February 25. The event provided free health resources to UTEP students and members of the El Paso community.
Our UMC Sports Rehab and Outpatient Clinic teams were honored to take part in this important community event. Throughout the day, we connected with students and families, shared information about our services, and answered questions about injury prevention, recovery, and heart health.
Sharing Information About Sports Rehabilitation
During the health fair, our Sports Rehabilitation team provided details about UMC’s specialized sports rehab program. Team members spoke with attendees about injury prevention and recovery and discussed how rehabilitation services can support safe and effective returns to physical activity.
We appreciated the opportunity to meet with students and families, answer their questions, and provide clear information about the resources available through UMC.
Highlighting Heart Health Resources
In recognition of National Heart Month, our Outpatient Clinic teams also shared educational information about heart health. Attendees learned more about the importance of cardiovascular wellness and the specialty cardiology services available at UMC clinic locations throughout the community.
Providing access to information is an important part of our mission, and we are grateful for opportunities like this to support our community’s health.
